Ann is a postbaccalaureate research assistant and project leader in the Family Processes and Child Development Lab. In 2025, she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of Washington, minoring in Gender, Women, and Sexuality Studies (GWSS). While at the University of Washington, she was able to more firmly understand her educational and professional path, encouraging participation within the Center for the Study of Health and Risk Behaviors (CSHRB) as a research assistant on Project BRIGHT.
Alongside her previous P.I., Jessica Canning, PhD (University of Washington), she was able to gain a deep passion for research, coding, conducting motivational interviews, and presenting at the undergraduate research symposium, continuing to expand on a lack of comprehensive understanding within underrepresented populations. While conducting research, she was also able to experience evidence-based practice, working within the field of child-focused Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA). There, she learned the importance and excitement that hands-on, evidence-based intervention has within the field of psychology and my life, further motivating her educational and professional career.
Now she works as Client Service Coordinator at the Evidence Base Treatment Centers of Seattle, helping folks get in contact with much needed mental health services, while continuing her passion for research as a member of EBTCS's research team.
