Dr. Jacques will be presenting findings from a new solo-authored project "Unpacking Nuanced Associations between Parent Risk Factors and Developmental Outcomes: An Intersectional and Multilevel Approach" at WPA's 2026 conference in Tacoma, WA. The project compares how different contexts of parental adversities - parental addiction, psychopathology, and incarceration - uniquely affect different domains of youth functioning. Findings were also moderated by youth identity: those with multiple marginalized identities were at disproportionately high risk for certain adverse outcomes but not others.
